Napa Valley Wedding || Natalie & Tommy

On the outskirts of downtown Napa, up a narrow windy road into the hills, lies the Starr’s family property.  I was super excited to be photographing another wedding here just one year later!  Not only is the property beautiful, but I already knew how wonderful the bride’s family was and I could not wait to meet the grooms side!

While Natalie and Tommy’s wedding day had many changes leading up to their wedding day, the day ended up being even more special than they had ever imagined, surrounded by just their closest family and bridal party!  From venue changes, to slimming down the guest list, Natalie and Tommy didn’t let the pandemic nor California wildfires get them down! While a smokey wildfire haze filled the sky throughout the entire day, we were somehow blessed with good air quality!

When I entered the bridal room, all eyes were on Natalie. As she was getting ready for her day, it was so special to hear the stories behind details that went into her wedding day. Not only did they find Natalie’s mom’s wedding dress, but it was also Natalie’s parents anniversary!  Next, the necklace that she was wearing was given to her mom by her dad on their wedding day!  To top it all off, the rocking chair that Natalie used to get ready was the rocking chair that her mom used to rock her in. By the time I walked out of the bridal room my heart was so filled with sentiment and excitement for the rest of the day!

Natalie & Tommy, congratulations! I love you two from the bottom of my heart, and I am so thankful that we met at your brother’s wedding a year ago!  It was so wonderful to see your family again, and you two looked absolutely amazing!  Your joy was contagious throughout the day and I loved how I could see the love and excitement in your eyes!  Good luck on your next chapter of life together, I cannot wait to see what it brings!
