Legion of Honor and Torpedo Warf, San Francisco Engagement Session ⎮ Richell & Steve

The wind was whistling through the tall white columns at the Legion of Honor Museum in the city. Instead of shivering, Richell and Steve’s confidence and energy shone through. Even as we continued to Torpedo Warf, winding through the busy San Francisco streets, and definitely taking a few wrong turns, Richell and Steve arrived at location two with even bigger smiles than before! Richell and Steve, your easy going personality was so enjoyable and I loved connecting with the two of you!

How they MetRichell and Steve started off their first date at Rye, a bar in San Francisco. They then continued on to dinner and a museum! Once at the De Young Museum, they roamed around, enjoying the artwork, and their time with one another! Richell recalls that they were both trying to flirt, but without being too obvious ;P . Over four years later, Richell and Steve still enjoy many of the same activities! For fun, they love to travel together, both domestically and internationally! In their free time, Steve enjoys reading about history and current events, while Richell loves working with flowers and really enjoys taking floral classes!

The Proposal – April 29th, 2019A trip was planned to travel through parts of Switzerland and France together. Richell hoped a proposal was just around the corner, as she thought both her and Steve were on the same page, and it turns out that they were! While on a day trip to Montreux, Steve planned to pop the question while in front of the Chillon Castle! Richell of course said yes, and the two were able to spend the rest of their trip celebrating together! Traveling holds a special place in their hearts as they both love the excitement of seeing new parts of the world and being able to experience different cultures! Richell also loves being able to wake up and have no plans except to explore! While Steve is the big planner, these two always enjoy a good brunch and a nice stroll around a new town!

Richell and Steve, I love how quickly you two fell into my directions, and how fast I felt your trust! Your laughter was authentic throughout the evening, and even when it was freezing…you two stayed positive and kept the great pictures coming! I am thankful for your patience with onlookers and tourists, and you even accepted when a stranger asked you to take their picture…even though I was standing right there, trying to take your picture! Conversation was easy with the two of you, and I cannot wait to capture your wedding day! Cheers you two <3
